Online casino, poker and bingo operator GetMinted.com is planning to spend £1 Million GBP to advertise offline throughout the UK in the next couple of months.
For the next two months, they will be heavily promoting their bingo, slots and poker products offline through the use of posters in phone boxes, at rail stations and outside bingo halls.
Then from April 25th to May 8th, they will be pushing its Monopoly Reel Estate video slot game at rail stations around London.
“We estimate that 454,000 people come into London by rail every day during peak hours and 72 percent of those travelling into Central London use rail as their main mode of transport,” said Gloria Gonzalez, Head of Marketing for GetMinted.com.
“Each of these commuters will see the posters around ten times during the two-week campaign. Rail stations were a pertinent location to promote Monopoly given that you can buy train stations on the Monopoly board. There is a clever subtext to the location of these posters.”
The final part of the marketing campaign will run from May 2nd until May 25th and will see posters of former soccer player turned actor Vinnie Jones, the face of their poker room covered all over phone boxes.
