Poker Plex Sponsors Henning Bolstad in Copenhagen European Poker Tour Event |
 Continuing its support for professional poker players, Poker Plex is sponsoring 29-year-old Norwegian player Henning Bolstad, a young player who has started making a name in tournament poker.
Henning will be playing in the Copenhagen event of the European Poker Tour (EPT) on January 29th and 30th.
Henning, who has been playing poker for 15 years, says: "I've been playing professionally for about three years. Two years ago I quit my job as an accountant and I now play poker full-time, mainly on the Internet."
Henning, who is also a Poker Plex affiliate, has played many live tournaments in Norway;
"My biggest achievement was my fifth place in the Norwegian NL championship 2004 and my sixth place in the 500 Euro 1 re-buy or add-on tournament in Barcelona last year. In 2004 I was the Bergen Poker Club champion."
Norwegian players are among the most enthusiastic online poker players in the world, and Henning reveals that he plays many online tournaments:
"Online I have won both the Sunday 215 tournament on PokerStars and this Sunday I won the 215 buy-in tournament on PartyPoker giving me $57,000. Last year I also qualified for the WSOP main event. I play on many poker sites online but I prefer playing on PokerPlex because of its various limits and great rakeback program."
The European Poker Tour has main events all over Europe, culminating in the EPT Grand Final on March 15th in Monte Carlo.
