The UK's first gaming college, to teach croupiers the tricks of the trade, has been officially opened in Lancashire.
Earmarked to benefit from the government's gambling law reforms Blackpool and The Fylde College has built its own training casino in the resort.
Courses ranging from GCSE to foundation courses for degrees will be available to students over 18. Some will train as croupiers and others as slot machine engineers.
The college is set to receive the Beacon Award, a Centre for Excellence in Leadership award for innovation in curriculum leadership development.
